**Patna, Bihar, November 18, 2024** – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today declared the results of the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor announced the results at 1:45 PM. A total of 4,23,822 candidates appeared for the exam, with 2,63,911 taking Paper 1 (for classes 9-10) and 1,59,911 taking Paper 2 (for classes 11-12). The overall pass percentage is 70.25%.

Paper 1 saw a pass percentage of 73.77% (1,94,697 out of 2,63,911 candidates), while Paper 2 had a pass rate of 64.44%. Candidates can check their results on the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com, or via a direct link provided on Jansatta.

This year’s pass percentage is slightly lower than last year’s 79.79%, where 3,00,726 candidates cleared the exam out of 3,76,877 who appeared for both papers.

The BSEB had previously announced that the STET 2024 would be conducted in two phases – one in March and the other in September. The results announced today pertain to the concluded phases. Information regarding the next phase was included in the press release but was unrelated to the results. Further details regarding future STET exams were not included in the statement.
