**Hobart, Australia:** Australia completed a dominant 3-0 sweep of their three-match T20I series against Pakistan with a resounding 7-wicket victory on Monday. Chasing a modest 118-run target, Australia reached the finish line in just 11.2 overs, losing only three wickets. Marcus Stoinis was the star of the show, smashing an unbeaten 61 off just 27 balls, including five fours and five sixes. This win avenged Australia’s 2-1 ODI series loss to Pakistan.

Pakistan, missing regular captain Mohammad Rizwan, struggled to reach 117 runs in 18.1 overs. While Babar Azam (41) and Haaseebullah Khan (24) provided some resistance, the rest of the batting lineup failed to deliver, with six players failing to reach double figures. Aaron Hardie took three wickets for Australia, while Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa each claimed two. Johnson was later awarded the Player of the Series award for his eight wickets across the series.

Australia’s chase got off to a slightly shaky start, losing Matthew Short (2) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (18) early. However, Stoinis and captain Josh Inglis (27) steadied the ship before Stoinis unleashed a furious assault on the Pakistani bowlers, particularly in the ninth and eleventh overs. Despite Inglis’ dismissal, Stoinis continued his onslaught, finishing the match with a six off the third ball of the twelfth over, a no-ball, allowing Australia to claim victory with 52 balls to spare. This marked Australia’s second-largest win by balls remaining in a T20I against Pakistan. Stoinis was named Player of the Match.
