PEMBROKE, Bermuda — Rafael Campos celebrated a double victory this week. Just days after welcoming his first child, a baby girl, with his wife, he clinched his first career PGA Tour win at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Campos, who barely made his Thursday tee time after the Monday birth, finished the tournament tied for the lead before securing the title with a final round 68. He finished 16 under par. The win earned him the top prize of $1,188,000 from the $6.9 million purse.

“Everything has changed this week,” Campos said. “Having a daughter…it doesn’t matter if I play bad, they don’t care. At the end of the day, I have a beautiful daughter and wife waiting for me.”

The Bermuda Championship saw a tight finish with several players vying for top positions. Adrien Dumont de Chassart and Mark Hubbard tied for third place, earning $407,100 each. Other notable finishes included Vince Whaley, Sam Ryder, and Justin Lower tied in fifth place. The full payout breakdown is available. Campos’ victory marks a remarkable personal and professional milestone.
