Batting first, Australia posted a modest 147/9 in their 20 overs, thanks to contributions from openers Josh Short (32) and Aaron Finch (20) and a valuable knock from Glenn Maxwell (21). However, the lower order struggled, limiting their total. Pakistan’s bowlers, particularly Shaheen Shah Afridi (2/26), Haris Rauf (4/22) and Usman Qadir (2/22), restricted Australia’s scoring.
