**Mumbai, India – October 25, 2024** – Aspiring designers have until tomorrow, October 26th, at 5 PM to register for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2025. The exam, conducted by IIT Bombay, is scheduled for January 19th, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM.

The registration fee is ₹4,000, with a reduced fee of ₹2,000 for female candidates and those from SC, ST, and PwD categories. Eligibility requires completion or appearance in Class 12 (or equivalent) examinations in 2024 or 2025 respectively. The three-hour exam is divided into a computer-based Part A and a sketching-based Part B. Both parts are compulsory.

UCEED scores are used for admission to BDes programs at several prestigious institutes including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Many other institutes also accept UCEED scores. The score is valid only for admissions to the 2025-2026 academic year. The announcement also clarified that separate CEED scores are used for MDes and PhD admissions, and are valid for one year from the date of results.
