**Srinagar, Nov 16** – Kashmir’s famed ski resort, Gulmarg, received its first snowfall of the season on Saturday, bringing delight to tourists and locals alike. The snowfall, which began early morning and continued intermittently, blanketed the meadows with approximately one inch of fresh snow. Higher elevations throughout the valley, including Gurez, Machil, and areas along the Mughal Road, also saw snowfall. Meanwhile, Srinagar and other plains experienced rainfall. The meteorological department forecasts improved weather conditions by the afternoon and generally dry conditions from November 17th to 23rd, with a possibility of light rain or snow in isolated higher reaches on November 24th.
