**Belagavi, November 17, 2024** – The Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC) in Belagavi held a combined event on Saturday, November 16th, featuring an e-bike rally and a significant pensioners’ outreach program. The event, organized by the MEG Centre, underscored the Army’s commitment to both veteran welfare and environmental sustainability.

The outreach program provided retired personnel and their families with crucial updates on pension policies, grievance redressal, and assistance with documentation. This initiative was a central element of the day’s activities, reaffirming the Army’s dedication to supporting its veterans.

A solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Sharqat War Memorial honored fallen soldiers. The event also commemorated the MEG Centre’s 244th Raising Day and the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
