**Bengaluru, November 17, 2024** – A 27-year-old goods vehicle driver, Hariharan, died Friday night after his vehicle collided with a truck on NICE Road near the Kommaghatta bridge. Hariharan, a resident of Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu, was traveling towards Magadi around 10:30 pm when he crashed into a truck that had stopped abruptly in the middle of the road. Police reports indicate the truck had been involved in a minor accident with another vehicle and its driver, allegedly driving recklessly, stopped suddenly. Hariharan was unable to avoid the collision and died at the scene. The truck driver fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. The Kengeri Traffic Police, alerted by NICE Road patrolling staff, have seized the abandoned truck and launched an investigation into the incident.
