Trade sources predict that “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” slated for release on December 5th, could achieve a phenomenal opening day collection of ₹270 crore (approximately US$32.7 million) worldwide. The film’s team is reportedly hoping to surpass the opening day collections of both “Baahubali 2” and “RRR.” This ambitious projection positions “Pushpa 2” as a potential record-breaker in Indian cinema.
Directed by Sukumar, “Pushpa 2: The Rule” reunites Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair, along with other cast members like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil plays a pivotal negative role. While Samantha Ruth Prabhu featured in an item number in the first installment, this time, Srileela will be taking center stage with a dance sequence.
