**New Delhi, India** – The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released key information regarding the upcoming Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment exam for 2024. Candidates who applied can download their exam city intimation slips and other necessary documents from the official RRB website, rrbapply.gov.in.

The computer-based test (CBT 1) is tentatively scheduled for November 25-29. Admit cards will be available four days prior to the exam date, with SC/ST candidates receiving theirs and travel authorization ten days before. Admit cards can be downloaded directly through this link: https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/#/auth/landing.

The number of ALP vacancies has been significantly increased from the initially announced 5,696 to 18,799, reflecting additional demand from zonal railways. Selection will be based on CBT 1, CBT 2, a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT), document verification (DV), and a medical examination (ME). Negative marking (1/3 of the total marks for each incorrect answer) will apply to CBT 1 and CBT 2, but not CBAT.
