**New Delhi:** The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced important updates regarding the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment exam 2024. The computer-based test (CBT 1) is expected to be held between November 25th and 29th.
Candidates who applied can download their exam city information slips and other necessary documents from the official RRB website, rrbapply.gov.in. Admit cards will be available four days prior to the exam date, with SC/ST candidates receiving theirs ten days in advance, along with travel authorization. Admit cards can also be downloaded directly through the link: https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/#/auth/landing.
The number of ALP vacancies has been significantly increased from the initially announced 5,696 to 18,799 due to additional demand from zonal railways. Selection will be based on CBT 1, CBT 2, a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT), document verification (DV), and a medical examination (ME). Negative marking (1/3 of the total marks for each incorrect answer) will be applied to CBT 1 and CBT 2, but not to the CBAT.
