CHENNAI, INDIA – Actress Nayanthara has publicly accused actor Dhanush of preventing the use of footage and music from their hit film “Naanum Rowdydhaan” in her upcoming Netflix documentary, “Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.” In an open letter, Nayanthara expressed her disappointment and frustration, claiming Dhanush’s refusal stemmed from personal animosity.
The documentary, slated for release on November 18th, chronicles Nayanthara’s life and career, including her relationship and marriage to director Vignesh Shivan. “Naanum Rowdydhaan,” their first film together, holds significant sentimental value and is a key part of their love story.
Nayanthara stated that she and her team had been negotiating with Dhanush for nearly two years to secure permission to use the material.
