**Chennai, November 16** – Actress Nayanthara has publicly accused actor and producer Dhanush of extortion and unprofessional conduct in a three-page open letter posted on her social media accounts. The dispute centers around the use of footage from Dhanush’s film, “Naanum Rowdydhaan” (Telugu: “Nenu Rowdyne”), in Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming Netflix documentary, “Beyond the Fairytale,” which chronicles their wedding.
Nayanthara claims that despite requesting permission to use clips and songs from “Naanum Rowdydhaan,” Dhanush refused. The documentary consequently included approximately three seconds of behind-the-scenes footage, which Nayanthara and Shivan shot themselves during the making of “Naanum Rowdydhaan.” In response to this minimal use of footage, Dhanush allegedly demanded a ₹10 crore compensation.
