**Johannesburg, South Africa –** India secured a resounding victory over South Africa in the fourth and final T20 International match on Friday, crushing the hosts by 135 runs to clinch the series 3-1. The win marks a memorable end to India’s T20I campaign for the year.

India, winning the toss and electing to bat first, posted a mammoth 283/1, the highest ever T20I score by any team in South Africa. This incredible total was fueled by unbeaten centuries from Sanju Samson (100 off 51 balls, including 6 fours and 8 sixes) and Tilak Varma (100 off 41 balls, including 6 fours and 9 sixes). The pair put on a record-breaking 210-run partnership for the second wicket, the highest ever for any wicket in a T20I for India. Abhishek Sharma also contributed a quick 36 before being dismissed.

South Africa’s chase never got going, struggling to reach 148 runs, resulting in a comprehensive defeat. Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking three crucial wickets.
