**Ahmedabad, India –** British rock band Coldplay has announced a second concert in Ahmedabad, India, due to overwhelming demand. The band, known for hits like “Yellow” and “Fix You,” will now perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on both January 25th and 26th, 2025.

Tickets for the initial January 25th show sold out within minutes of going on sale. Tickets for the newly added January 26th concert went on sale at 1 PM IST today via BookMyShow. Coldplay shared the news via X (formerly Twitter), urging fans to purchase tickets only through the official platform. BookMyShow issued a warning against purchasing tickets from unauthorized resellers, emphasizing that such tickets are invalid and that ticket scalping is illegal in India.

This marks Coldplay’s return to India after a nine-year absence. Their last Indian performance was at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016. The Ahmedabad concerts are part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour and will be among their largest performances to date. The band will also play three concerts in Mumbai (January 18th, 19th, and 21st, 2025) as part of the tour.
