Fri Nov 15 19:14:56 UTC 2024: ## India Clinches T20 Series Win Against South Africa with Dominant Victory

**Johannesburg:** India secured a convincing 3-1 victory in the four-match T20 series against South Africa, culminating in a resounding 135-run triumph in the final match at the Wanderers Stadium.

India’s innings was fueled by stunning centuries from openers Sanju Samson (109* off 51 balls) and Tilak Varma (120* off 47 balls). Their unbroken second-wicket partnership yielded a staggering 210 runs from just 85 balls, propelling India to a mammoth 283/1.

South Africa’s chase began disastrously. They lost four wickets within the first three overs, managing only ten runs. Ryan Rickelton (1), Reeza Hendricks (0), captain Aiden Markram (8), and Heinrich Klaasen (0) all fell cheaply. At the end of the powerplay, they were precariously placed at 30/4.

While David Miller (36) and Tristan Stubbs (43) put together an 86-run partnership for the fifth wicket, the early collapse proved insurmountable. Varun Chakravarthy dismissed Miller and Ravi Bishnoi removed Stubbs in quick succession, leaving South Africa reeling at 96/6 in the 12.1st over.

The remaining South African batsmen offered little resistance, eventually being bowled out for 148 in 18.2 overs. Arshdeep Singh led the Indian bowling attack with three wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel claimed two each. Hardik Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, and Rmandeep Singh each took a wicket.

The victory marks a comprehensive series win for India, showcasing their batting prowess and disciplined bowling performance.
