**LAS VEGAS** – Major League Baseball celebrated its top performers Thursday at the All-MLB Awards Show, recognizing outstanding achievements across various categories.

Atlanta Braves pitcher Chris Sale and Chicago White Sox hurler Garrett Crochet were named Comeback Player of the Year in their respective leagues. Sale, who returned from a string of injuries, dominated the NL with an 18-3 record and a 2.38 ERA, earning his eighth All-Star selection. Crochet, also recovering from Tommy John surgery, helped a struggling White Sox team with a solid 3.58 ERA over 32 starts.

Cleveland’s Emmanuel Clase won his second AL Reliever of the Year award, while St. Louis’ Ryan Helsley captured the NL honor. Clase, a three-time All-Star, was nearly untouchable with a 0.61 ERA and 47 saves, while Helsley, a two-time All-Star, posted a 2.04 ERA and 49 saves.

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani achieved a historic feat, becoming the first player to hit 50 or more home runs and steal 50 or more bases in a season, earning him his fourth consecutive Outstanding Designated Hitter award. He joined David Ortiz as the only players to accomplish this feat. Ohtani, limited to hitting due to elbow surgery, led the NL with 54 home runs and 130 RBIs, while stealing 59 bases.

The New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge and Ohtani were awarded the Hank Aaron Awards, recognizing the league’s outstanding offensive performers. Judge led the majors with 58 home runs and 144 RBIs while hitting .322.

The awards were decided by voting from MLB.com beat writers, a panel of Hall of Famers and former winners, and fan votes.
