Fri Nov 15 02:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Full House Star Dave Coulier Battles Stage Three Lymphoma

**LOS ANGELES, CA -** Full House actor Dave Coulier, known for his role as the lovable Joey Gladstone, has revealed he is battling stage three non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The 65-year-old actor, who announced his diagnosis publicly last week, says he has come to terms with the possibility of this being the “end of the journey.”

“I’ve had an incredible life,” Coulier told Today.com. “I’m okay with whatever the news is going to be, no matter how devastating.”

The diagnosis came as a shock for Coulier, who described the moment he learned of his condition as feeling like he had been “punched in the stomach.”

“The first thing I said to them was, ‘Wait a minute – cancer?’” Coulier shared. “It never happens to you. You always hear about it happening to someone else.”

Coulier’s diagnosis followed an upper respiratory infection that led to swelling in his lymph nodes. After undergoing PET and CT scans, a biopsy confirmed the presence of cancer cells. Fortunately, a bone marrow test came back negative, significantly increasing his chances of survival.

Coulier, who has been married to Melissa Bring for a decade, has begun chemotherapy and has opted to shave his head as a proactive approach to dealing with the side effects.

“I’m going to meet this head-on,” Coulier stated. “I want people to know it’s my life. I’m not going to try and hide anything. I would rather talk about it and open the discussion and inspire people.”

Despite the challenges ahead, Coulier remains optimistic, expressing gratitude for the love and support of his family and friends.
