**Varanasi, India:** The holy city of Varanasi is set to illuminate the world with the radiant glow of millions of lamps during the upcoming Dev Deepawali festival. The celebrations will commence on Friday, coinciding with Kartik Purnima, with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurating the festivities at the Namo Ghat by lighting the first lamp.
The event will witness the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister Hardeep Puri. Over 17 lakh diyas, including 3 lakh made from cow dung, will illuminate the ghats, kunds, and temples of the city.
