Thu Nov 14 16:50:00 UTC 2024: ## Bulls Edge Out Knicks in Thrilling Finish, LaVine Leads Chicago to Victory

**NEW YORK -** The Chicago Bulls held off a late surge from the New York Knicks to secure a 124-123 victory Wednesday night, thanks to a clutch performance from Colby White. White sank the game-winning free throws with three seconds remaining, after being fouled on a three-point attempt by Josh Hart.

The Bulls led by as many as 22 points in the third quarter, but the Knicks mounted a remarkable comeback, taking a 123-121 lead on Jalen Brunson’s bucket with just four seconds left. However, Brunson’s potential game-winner rimmed out at the buzzer.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 31 points, while White added 22. Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a phenomenal night for the Knicks, scoring a season-high 46 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Brunson finished with 24 points, and Mikal Bridges added 20.

The Knicks’ comeback effort was fueled by a blistering 60.4% shooting percentage in the second half, after a relatively cold first half. The Bulls, on the other hand, relied on their solid defense to secure the victory.

The Bulls head to Cleveland on Friday, while the Knicks will host Brooklyn.
