**KOLLAM, November 14, 2024:** The Block Resource Centre (BRC) in Chathannur took a unique approach to promote environmental awareness as part of the “Waste Free Campaign-2025.” The BRC team recently presented a short skit titled “KAAKKA” at the Haritha Sabha of Mayyanad grama panchayat.
The skit, conceptualised by Bindhu T.S., was scripted and directed by Sujeer Dath, a specialist teacher at the BRC. It was performed for students, aiming to educate them about the importance of waste management and its impact on the environment. This initiative highlights the BRC’s commitment to fostering environmental consciousness among the younger generation, contributing to the larger goal of a waste-free future.
