Fri Nov 15 06:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Star-Studded Cast Set for Guy Ritchie’s New Film “Wife & Dog”

**LONDON** – Oscar nominees Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike are set to star in director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film “Wife & Dog,” alongside two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins. The film, described as a return to the “colourful, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy” seen in Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen,” will begin filming in the UK in February 2025.

Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps, but the script is written by Ritchie himself, who will also produce alongside longtime partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg. Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler will executive produce for Black Bear.

Black Bear, who previously collaborated with Ritchie and Atkinson on “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and “In the Grey,” launched sales for “Wife & Dog” at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The film is one of many new projects Black Bear is developing, including Idris Elba’s action film “Hammer Down” and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s genre film “Pendulum.”

Cumberbatch is represented by Conway van Gelder Grant, UTA and Sloane, Offer. Pike is represented by CAA, United Agents and Magnolia Entertainment. Hopkins is represented by Independent Talent Group, UTA and Goodman, Genow. Ritchie is represented by WME and Matthew Saver.
