**Stanford, CA** – Incoming National Security Advisor, Congressman Mike Waltz, has declared the US-India relationship the most important of the 21st century, stating that it will determine “whether this is a century of light or a century of darkness.”

Speaking at the INDUSUSX Summit at Stanford University in September, Waltz, co-chair of the Congressional India Caucus, emphasized the significance of collaboration between the two nations. He highlighted the importance of maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region, particularly in protecting India’s sovereignty along the Line of Control.

“Consider my office and my team an open door to further this relationship as we press forward,” Waltz said, encouraging continued cooperation.

He also expressed enthusiasm for the “enormous momentum” in the US-India partnership, pointing to initiatives like iCET and INDUS-X, as well as areas of collaboration including joint production of Apache helicopter fuselages, ship repair advancements, and collaboration in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and data management.

Waltz recently visited India in August, attending Independence Day celebrations and praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech.

“The bottom line is, in my view, this (US-India) is the most important relationship of the 21st century,” Waltz stated, underlining the critical role both nations play in shaping the future of the world.
