**Lucknow, India:** The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is expected to release the results for the 2024 Constable recruitment examination in the third week of November. Successful candidates will then be eligible to participate in the physical test.

To qualify for the physical test, male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run within 25 minutes, while female candidates must finish a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.

The board advises all applicants to start preparing for the physical test immediately, even before the written exam results are declared.

**Height and Chest Requirements:**

Candidates aspiring to become constables in the UP Police must meet specific height and chest requirements. For General, OBC, and SC categories, the minimum height is 168 cm, with a chest measurement of 79 cm (without expansion) and 84 cm (with expansion). For SC candidates, the minimum height is 160 cm, with a chest measurement of 77 cm (without expansion) and 82 cm (with expansion).

**Checking the Results:**

Applicants can access their results through the UPPBPB website (uppbpb.gov.in). After clicking on the UP Police Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment-2023 exam result link, candidates will need to enter their roll number, application number, and other necessary information. The result will then be displayed on the screen.

**Recruitment Exam Details:**

The 2024 Constable recruitment exam was conducted from August 23 to August 31, attracting over 48 lakh applicants. Approximately 32 lakh candidates took the test.
