Thu Nov 14 05:17:09 UTC 2024: ## Sunshine Coast’s Wrigley Called Up for Crucial WBBL Clash
**Sydney, Australia -** The WBBL Brisbane Heat have included Sunshine Coast product Mikayla Wrigley in their squad for tomorrow’s crucial Weber Women’s Big Bash League clash with the Sydney Sixers at North Sydney Oval.
Wrigley, 20, replaces Lucy Bourke in the only change to the 13-player squad. The game against the Sixers is crucial, with top four spots in the WBBL on the line. The Heat are coming off a win over the Adelaide Strikers, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Wrigley missed a week of the WBBL due to concussion protocol after being struck in the neck during a Katherine Raymont Shield match. She made a strong return to playing on the weekend, scoring 67 not out and 88 in two T20 games.
The keeper/batter could make her WBBL debut if selected in the starting team. She previously played for the Heat in the pre-season T20 Spring Challenge.
The Heat play the Sixers tomorrow and then face the Melbourne Stars in a double-header at Drummoyne Oval on Sunday. The match against the Sixers will be broadcast exclusively on FOX and Kayo from 2.30pm Qld time.
