**Brisbane, Australia:** Australia secured a convincing 29-run victory over Pakistan in the rain-affected first T20I match of the series, taking a 1-0 lead. The match, reduced to a 7-over affair due to persistent rain, saw Australia post a formidable 93/4 in their allotted overs.
Glenn Maxwell led the charge for the Aussies, smashing 43 runs off just 19 balls, including 5 fours and 3 sixes. Marcus Stoinis also contributed a quickfire 21 off 7 balls.
