**New Delhi, November 13, 2024:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-nation tour, visiting Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana from November 16th to 21st, the Ministry of External Affairs announced today.

The tour will begin with a visit to Nigeria, marking the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 17 years. Mr. Modi is expected to hold talks with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reviewing the strategic partnership between India and Nigeria and exploring avenues for further bilateral cooperation. He will also address a gathering of the Indian community in the country.

Next, Mr. Modi will travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the G20 Summit hosted by President Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva from November 18th to 19th. As part of the G20 Troika, India will actively contribute to the summit discussions and present its stance on global issues. Mr. Modi is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders on the sidelines of the summit.

The final leg of the tour will see Mr. Modi undertake a state visit to Guyana from November 19th to 21st, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister since 1968. The visit will include meetings with President Mohamed Irfaan Ali, addressing the Parliament of Guyana, and engaging with the Indian diaspora. Mr. Modi will also participate in the Second CARICOM-India Summit in Georgetown, Guyana, where he will hold meetings with leaders of CARICOM member countries to strengthen India’s longstanding ties with the region.
