**AMARAVATI, November 12, 2024** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has set his sights on achieving a 15% growth rate by 2047, fueled by strategic investments and industry collaboration. During a high-level meeting on Monday, Mr. Naidu, along with co-chair Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, emphasized the importance of creating wealth through accessible opportunities and leveraging the state’s resources for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The meeting, part of the Vision-2047 initiative, brought together key industry leaders from Tata Sons, GMR Group, Apollo, L&T, TVS, and Piramal, among others. Representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) also participated.
Mr. Naidu highlighted the state’s focus on improving the “Speed of Doing Business” and creating a welcoming environment for industrial growth. He cited the state’s existing infrastructure, including highways and airports, as well as its skilled workforce, as key assets for attracting investment.
The Vision-2047 task force will work towards making Andhra Pradesh a leader in sustainable development and innovation. The plan focuses on utilizing advanced technology, infrastructure, and human resources to achieve the ambitious growth target. Mr. Naidu expressed confidence in surpassing the 13.5% growth rate achieved during the previous TDP term.
