**MADISON, Wis. –** The Wisconsin Badgers showcased their offensive prowess on Sunday, defeating the Appalachian State Mountaineers 87-56. The victory marks their third win in as many games this season.

John Tonje and Steven Crowl led the way for Wisconsin, each scoring 17 points. The Badgers jumped out to an early lead thanks to a blistering 24-0 run in the first half, turning a 17-8 deficit into a 32-17 advantage. Tonje had a particularly strong first half, contributing nine points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Wisconsin continued their dominance in the second half, adding 51 points to their total. Max Klesmit led the scoring charge with 12 points, while Xavier Amos added 10. The Badgers’ efficient offense was evident in their 45% field goal percentage and 26-6 scoring advantage in the paint. They also limited turnovers, recording just six compared to Appalachian State’s 18.

The Mountaineers were led by CJ Huntley, who scored 13 points. Jackson Threadgill added 11 points, but the Mountaineers struggled to find their rhythm against the dominant Badgers.
