**MUMBAI, INDIA -** In a hilarious moment on the popular Indian comedy show “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy revealed his forgetfulness – he completely missed his 25th wedding anniversary despite multiple hints from his wife, Sudha Murty.
During the episode featuring the Murty couple alongside Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and his wife, Narayana Murthy shared the story, recounting how Sudha Murty subtly reminded him of the special day, only for him to dismiss it. It was only later, when his daughter Akshata Murty called from the US, that he realized his blunder.
“She [Akshata] said, ‘Cancel the flight right now, and take the first flight out tomorrow morning at 6 and come back to Bangalore and wish my mother and your wife a happy anniversary day,'” Murthy shared, adding, “Who can remember these things?”
Sudha Murty, in a humorous turn, also confessed to being a terrible cook. “I cook so much worse,” she admitted, “Look at Murthy’s weight. Why is it like this?”
The episode, which airs on Netflix every Saturday, showcases a light-hearted side of the renowned entrepreneur and his family, adding a touch of humor to the show.
