Mumbai, India – Prithvi Shaw has been included in the 28-member probables squad for Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign, marking his return to the team after being dropped from the Ranji Trophy squad due to fitness concerns and conduct. The announcement came on Shaw’s 25th birthday, with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) confirming the selection.

Shaw’s inclusion in the squad comes after a period of uncertainty following his omission from the Ranji Trophy. He last played T20s during IPL 2024, where he was dropped mid-season by Delhi Capitals.
