**Pune, Maharashtra:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Pune on Tuesday, marking his seventh visit to the city since assuming office in 2014. This makes him the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Pune the most number of times while in office.
Previously, Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru visited Pune four times, Indira Gandhi three times, and Rajiv Gandhi twice. Modi has now surpassed Nehru’s record with his seventh visit.
With elections for the Maharashtra Assembly in full swing, Modi’s visit is expected to further intensify the campaign. Numerous star campaigners from various political parties are currently traversing the state, conducting rallies and meetings to garner support for their respective candidates.
