**New Delhi, India** – The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the fourth-generation sub-4-meter sedan, has received a 5-star safety rating from the Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP). This makes the new Dzire the first Maruti Suzuki vehicle to achieve a 5-star rating in the organization’s crash tests.
The Global NCAP report revealed that the new Dzire scored an impressive 31.24 out of 34.00 points for adult occupant protection, earning a 5-star rating. It also secured 39.20 out of 49.00 points in child occupant protection, earning a 4-star rating.
