Mon Nov 11 09:28:22 UTC 2024: ## Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Reveals How He Met His Mexican Wife on Kapil Sharma Show

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal recently shared the heartwarming story of how he met his wife, Grecia Munoz, on the popular Indian talk show “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show.” The episode, which also featured Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy and his wife, author and philanthropist Sudha Murty, saw Deepinder candidly revealing his journey to finding love.

Deepinder admitted he had been single for a long time, with friends constantly setting him up on dates, but he always felt something was missing. It was only when a friend introduced him to Grecia, who is originally from Mexico, that he felt a connection. “I knew she was the one,” he shared.

The conversation also touched upon Grecia’s love for Indian cuisine, particularly Punjabi dishes like chole bhature, a favourite of hers. Sudha Murty, known for her wit, humorously pointed out the dish’s unhealthiness, while remarking on Grecia’s ability to stay fit, much to everyone’s amusement.

When asked if Grecia had ever prepared a traditional “rasaoi” (a meal prepared by a new bride), Deepinder jokingly revealed that cooking is “officially banned” in their household, and they prefer ordering food – a fitting jest considering his role at Zomato, a leading food delivery platform.

Grecia Munoz, now known as Gia Goyal, has carved a niche for herself in modelling and luxury fashion. She has also hosted TV shows and is involved in charity work, focusing on child nutrition and women’s empowerment.

The couple tied the knot earlier this year in a private ceremony followed by a honeymoon in France. This is Deepinder’s second marriage, having previously been married to Kanchan Joshi.

In a recent move, the couple took up food deliveries themselves to understand the plight of delivery agents. Deepinder even shared that he was stopped from entering a mall in Gurgaon from the main entrance as a delivery boy. This incident brought to light the challenges faced by delivery workers and sparked a discussion about inclusivity and respect for all professions.
