**Mumbai, India** – The long wait for the much-anticipated “Hera Pheri 3” could be over soon, as the film’s makers are expected to announce the project officially in the near future. The news comes after the iconic trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal – were spotted together at Kalina private airport today.
Fans immediately took to social media, speculating that the trio’s reunion signaled the start of filming for “Hera Pheri 3.” The first two installments of the franchise, released in 2000 and 2006 respectively, were major box office successes, garnering a massive fan base.
The third film, however, faced numerous setbacks including Akshay Kumar’s initial departure from the project and legal rights issues. However, producer Firoze Nadiadwala recently cleared all dues and received a ‘No Due Certificate’ from the court, enabling him to regain the rights to “Hera Pheri” and other films.
“Hera Pheri 3 is a passion project not only for Firoz but also for the original trio,” shared a source close to the production. “They are all thrilled that the focus can now shift to the creative aspects and logistics required to bring the film to life.”
A promo featuring the cast was shot last year to quell speculation about the film’s status and cast. Fans are eagerly awaiting the reunion of their favorite trio on screen, as they prepare to reprise their iconic characters – Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao.
