Sun Nov 10 19:18:29 UTC 2024: ## Real Madrid Rebound with Vinícius Jr. Hat-Trick, Bayern Munich Stays Unbeaten
Real Madrid bounced back from two consecutive home defeats with a convincing 4-0 victory over Osasuna on Saturday. Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior stole the show, scoring a hat-trick to lead the charge.
The match began with a double blow for Real Madrid, as Rodrygo and Éder Militão were forced off injured. The latter’s injury was diagnosed as an anterior cruciate ligament tear, requiring surgery and sidelining him for several months.
Despite the early setbacks, Carlo Ancelotti’s side remained composed, with Vinícius Jr. leading the way. He opened the scoring in the 34th minute after a brilliant run and shot past Sergio Herrera. Jude Bellingham followed up with a stunning lob just eight minutes later for his first goal of the season.
Vinícius Jr. added two more goals in the second half, including a remarkable run from his own half to round the goalkeeper and score. His second hat-trick in four games helped Real Madrid climb to 27 points, six behind league leaders Barcelona.
Elsewhere in Europe, Bayern Munich remained unbeaten atop the Bundesliga with a 1-0 win over St. Pauli. Jamal Musiala’s sensational long-range strike secured the victory for the Bavarians.
In Italy, Milan fought back from two goals down to earn a 3-3 draw against Cagliari. Rafael Leão scored twice in the first half before Gabriele Zappa equalised for the home side with a double of his own.
Juventus maintained their strong form with a 2-0 victory over Torino, courtesy of goals from Timothy Weah and Kenan Yildiz.
Paris Saint-Germain extended their unbeaten streak in Ligue 1 with a 4-2 win over Angers. Lee Kang-in and Bradley Barcola both scored twice in the first half.
Borussia Dortmund suffered a 3-1 loss at Mainz, their fourth consecutive defeat on the road in the Bundesliga. The pressure is mounting on coach Nuri Sahin after the disappointing result.
