Mon Nov 11 03:03:51 UTC 2024: ## England Dominates West Indies in Second T20I

**Bridgetown, Barbados:** England bounced back in style in the second T20I of the five-match series, defeating West Indies by a convincing 7 wickets. The victory comes after a disappointing loss in the first match.

Captain Jos Buttler was the star of the show, smashing 83 runs off just 45 balls, including 8 fours and 6 sixes, with an impressive strike rate of 184.44.

England won the toss and elected to bowl first. West Indies, struggling to find their rhythm, posted a modest total of 158/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Rovman Powell top-scored with 43 runs but received little support from his teammates.

Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, and Saqib Mahmood picked up 2 wickets each for England, while Adil Rashid and Jofra Archer claimed one wicket each.

England’s chase was a masterclass in dominance. After losing Phil Salt for a golden duck on the very first ball, Jos Buttler and Will Jacks put on a 129-run partnership before Jacks fell for 38.

Buttler, who was in blistering form, continued his onslaught before being dismissed for 83 in the 13th over. However, the damage was already done.

Jacob Bethell and Liam Livingstone remained unbeaten, guiding England home with an unbroken partnership of 31 runs, securing a comfortable victory in just 14.5 overs.

England will look to carry this momentum into the third T20I, hoping to take a commanding lead in the series.
