**St John’s, Antigua:** Cricket West Indies (CWI) has named a 15-man squad for the first two T20 International matches against England, set to take place at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. The series will kick off on November 9th.

The West Indies team is currently enjoying a strong run of form, remaining unbeaten in four T20I series since 2023. This impressive performance has helped them climb the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings, highlighting their resurgence in the global cricketing scene.

Head coach Daren Sammy expressed confidence in the selected squad’s ability to continue their winning ways. “The T20 team is our most settled team with lots of experienced players,” Sammy said. “The difficulty will be picking the eleven, as every single player is challenging for a spot in the eleven. As we face a very good England team, I am confident that the selected squad will continue to play a brand of cricket that allows us to win games and this Rivalry series.”

Notable additions to the squad include Akeal Hosein, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, and Andre Russell, all returning after missing the recent tour of Sri Lanka due to personal reasons. Medium pacer Matthew Forde, who recently received Player of the Series honours in the ODI series against England, replaces Alzarri Joseph who is serving a two-match suspension.

The five-match series will continue with the second game at the Kensington Oval on November 10th, before moving to St Lucia’s Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium for the final three matches on November 14th, 16th, and 17th.
