**Mumbai, India:** Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal appeared on the latest episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show’ with his wife, Grecia Munoz (Gia Goyal). The couple, who married earlier this year, shared the story of their whirlwind romance, highlighting how Grecia’s lack of knowledge about Zomato played a significant role.
Goyal revealed that he met his wife through a friend who predicted she would be “the one.” Intrigued by his friend’s conviction, Goyal decided to meet Grecia, who had recently arrived in Delhi from Mexico. “I was single for a long time and my friends would always try to set me up, but this time, my friend said, ‘You have to marry her if you find a girl like her,'” Goyal shared on the show.
The couple felt an instant connection, leading Goyal to invite Grecia for a yoga session the next morning. He explained that he had to do something to get to know her better. After their yoga session, they went for breakfast, and Goyal admitted that he and Grecia “interviewed” each other for three hours.
Goyal found it refreshing that Grecia, being new to India, had no prior knowledge of his company, Zomato. “Everyone else who met me treated me as the Zomato founder,” he said. “I didn’t tell her about Zomato for about four months.”
The couple’s appearance on the show offered a glimpse into their unique love story, showcasing how their relationship blossomed despite their different backgrounds and experiences.
