**NEW DELHI, INDIA – November 10, 2024:** The Congress party launched a 25-kilometer “Delhi Nyay Yatra” foot march on Saturday, demanding justice for residents of the national capital. Starting at the Jama Masjid and ending at Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, the rally traversed through Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar, and Azad Market.
Led by Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav, the march paused at several religious institutions including the Gauri Shankar temple, Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, a Jain temple, and the Central Baptist Church.
Yadav expressed his gratitude for the public support, stating that the yatra aims to address the concerns of unemployed youth, women deprived of pensions, and those denied ration cards. He accused the BJP-led central government and the Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi government of “corruption and misrule” over the past decade.
During their two-day interactions with residents of five Assembly constituencies, Congress members received numerous complaints concerning dirty water supply, irregular garbage collection, waterlogging, air pollution, traffic congestion, and issues related to rainfall. The party vows to continue fighting for the rights and welfare of Delhi residents.
