Delhi Ganesh, known for his natural acting style and versatility, breathed his last due to age-related illnesses. He was born on August 1st, 1944, in Tirunelveli and made his film debut in 1976 with K. Balachander’s “Patinappravesam.”
Throughout his illustrious career spanning over four decades, Delhi Ganesh graced over 400 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. He shared the screen with legendary actors like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, and Vijayakanth, earning accolades for his performances.
Delhi Ganesh was a recipient of the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Character Actor for the film “Pasi” and the prestigious Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. He also made his mark in television serials, captivating audiences with his endearing performances.
Prior to his acting career, he served in the Indian Air Force from 1964 to 1974.
