Sat Nov 09 04:50:00 UTC 2024: ## Pharrell Williams Reveals His Short-Lived McDonald’s Career

Music superstar Pharrell Williams, known for hits like “Happy” and “Get Lucky,” recently opened up about his brief stint working at McDonald’s before achieving fame. In an interview with BBC Radio 2, Williams admitted to being fired from the fast food chain a total of three times, jokingly attributing the dismissals to his love for chicken nuggets.

“McDonald’s was my first and only job,” Williams explained. “I got fired three times. I was eating the chicken nuggets.” He further elaborated that the first two firings were due to laziness, while the third time he was caught red-handed, simply sitting and enjoying the nuggets.

Despite his brief foray into the fast food industry, Williams has since achieved remarkable success in the music world. He rose to prominence alongside Chad Hugo as the production duo The Neptunes, producing hit songs for artists like Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Justin Timberlake. The duo later formed the band N.E.R.D, achieving further success with their debut album in 2002.

Williams has also enjoyed solo success with his own music and collaborations, notably “Blurred Lines” and “Get Lucky,” both chart-topping hits. His song “Happy” has become one of the best-selling songs in history, selling over 13.9 million copies and holding the record for longest music video for a time.

Beyond music, Williams has also made a name for himself in the fashion world, founding the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. In 2023, he was appointed as the men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton.

From his humble beginnings at McDonald’s, Pharrell Williams has gone on to become a global icon, demonstrating the power of hard work and dedication to achieving success.
