**GEORGETOWN, OHIO** – A weak earthquake with a magnitude of 2.4 struck the Ohio-Kentucky border on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The quake occurred just after 10:30 a.m. near Georgetown, Ohio, at a depth of over 5 miles below the surface.

While considered a minor earthquake, the USGS reports that areas immediately east and southeast of the epicenter may have felt the tremors. No damage has been reported in connection with this event.
