The strikes targeted Odesa, a key Black Sea port city, causing a large fire at an apartment building, according to Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne. Videos online show cars and buildings engulfed in flames with thick plumes of smoke rising into the air.
Meanwhile, Russia claimed its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones over the southern Bryansk region. Regional governor Alexander Bogomaz stated there were no reported injuries or damage.
