**Nalgonda, Telangana:** Telangana Chief Minister K.T. Rama Rao today launched a foot march titled ‘Musi Revival’, focusing on the rejuvenation of the Musi River. The march began at Sangam in Valigonda Mandal, Nalgonda District, and will continue for 2.5 kilometers, ending at Bhimalingam Kathva.

The Chief Minister began the march by offering special prayers at the Shiva Lingam in the Bhimalingam canal, followed by an inspection of the Musi river flow. He will walk along the Dharma Reddy Palli canal embankment towards the Sangam-Nagireddipalli road. The event culminates with a speech by the CM from a ‘Musi Revival’ chariot.

Earlier in the day, CM Rao celebrated his birthday by visiting the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. He was accompanied by Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, and Konda Surekha. The CM was accorded a warm welcome by local leaders, officials, and devotees upon his arrival at Yadagirigutta by helicopter from Hyderabad.

The ‘Musi Revival’ foot march is a significant initiative aimed at bringing attention to the need for environmental protection and water conservation. The CM’s commitment to the cause is evident through his personal participation in this symbolic march.
