**Begusarai, Bihar:** A railway porter, Amar Kumar Rao, was tragically killed during a shunting operation at Barauni Junction on Saturday. The incident occurred as the Lucknow-Barauni Express (No: 15204) arrived from Lucknow Junction.
According to sources, Rao was attempting to open the coupling of the train on platform 5 when it unexpectedly reversed, trapping him between the carriages. The train driver reportedly fled the scene after onlookers raised the alarm, leaving Rao crushed by the moving engine. He died instantly.
Disturbing visuals from the scene show Rao trapped between two coaches while bystanders took photos on their mobile phones.
Railway authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
