**Kozhikode, November 8, 2024:** Renowned poet and lyricist P.K. Gopi was awarded the Kerala Sahitya Akademi’s Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2023 at his residence in Kozhikode on Friday. The award was presented by Ashokan Charuvil, Vice-President of the Akademi.

The ceremony was presided over by M.K. Manoharan, a member of the Akademi’s Working Committee. Other dignitaries present included Akademi secretary C.P. Aboobakker and former Minister Benoy Vishwam.

This prestigious award recognizes Gopi’s significant contributions to Malayalam literature, particularly his work as a poet and lyricist.
