**Ranchi, Jharkhand (November 9, 2024):** Ahead of the two-phase Jharkhand Assembly elections, BJP leaders have launched a scathing attack on the ruling JMM-Congress coalition, accusing them of turning the state capital Ranchi into a haven for “Bangladeshi infiltrators.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, while addressing multiple election rallies in Jharkhand, claimed that the Hemant Soren government had deliberately provided shelter to Bangladeshi citizens for political gain. He further alleged that this influx has led to a decline in the Hindu population in the state, from 44% to 28%, while the Muslim population has increased by 4%.
Yadav likened Ranchi to Karachi, Pakistan, stating that the JMM-Congress government’s actions pose a threat to Hindu culture, festivals, and future generations. He also criticized the Gandhi family, calling them “fake Gandhis” who cling to their surname for political advantage.
Echoing Yadav’s sentiments, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized the need for a BJP government in Jharkhand to expel these “Bangladeshi infiltrators.”
The BJP, leading the NDA alliance, is aiming to dethrone the JMM-Congress coalition in the upcoming elections. Voting is scheduled for November 13 and 20.
