Sat Nov 09 14:58:24 UTC 2024: ## Yadgir CMC Addresses Citizen Concerns at First Janaspandana Programme
**Yadgir, November 9, 2024:** The first Janaspandana programme held in Yadgir on Friday saw a large turnout of citizens seeking redressal of various civic issues. Led by CMC chairperson Lalita Anapur, the programme focused on addressing concerns directly from the community.
The most common complaints included poor road conditions, inadequate drinking water supply, sanitation problems, improper waste disposal, and malfunctioning borewells. Residents also raised issues related to property documents, delays in name changes for property mutations, and the nuisance of stray cattle obstructing traffic, particularly at night. Streetlight mismanagement was another recurring concern.
Ms. Anapur patiently listened to each grievance and assured the citizens that all applications would be addressed promptly. While large-scale projects such as the construction of CC roads and a vegetable market will take time, they have been prioritized.
“The CMC is here for the citizens,” Ms. Anapur emphasized. “We encourage everyone to approach us with their concerns without hesitation. Your cooperation is crucial in improving our civic facilities.”
A total of 35 applications were received, with 20 being resolved on the spot, according to officials.
