**Visakhapatnam, November 8, 2024** – Air Marshal Saju Balakrishnan, Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman & Nicobar Command (CINCAN), made his first visit to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in Visakhapatnam on November 5th. During his visit, he met with Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the ENC, and discussed strengthening inter-command coordination.
Balakrishnan was also briefed on the Indian Navy’s responsibilities and operations along the Eastern Seaboard. He toured a submarine and key naval units including the Naval Dockyard and Eksila.
The visit highlights the importance of enhanced inter-service cooperation and coordinated operations to ensure regional security and stability.
